This was my fifth photoshoot, this time with Yasmin . We headed up to Kings Wood in Ashford, Kent, where there is a beautiful section that feels like a fairtyale forest.
The floral dress is a Laura Ashley "Bo Peep" dress from the early 1980s and it's absolutely gorgeous. I am obsessed with the dramatic ruffles and the full skirt but the cotton fabric means it's really easy to work with in terms of a photoshoot. Its pure vintage cottagecore.
The red dress was "Little Red Riding Hood inspired again" The dress is a second hand 90s ballgown in red satin - the same one I used for photoshoot number 4 with Laura. The dress did have some of those ubiquitous roses that were on every dress of that period so I took them off to make it a little more timeless.
As ever the jewellery is all upcycled and secondhand. The black boots were Yasmin's own.
This shoot was such a fantastic learning curve for me shooting in a darker setting, due to all the shade from the trees. I love how these photos came out!
